The workshop is titled, “Mixed Media Painting” this target those who are budget conscious but wanted to start something new that triggers their passion for painting. The workshop aims to have the participants to explore their creativity and create artwork by using different layer of wet and dry materials such as Acrylic, Oil Pastel, Soft Pastel, with some technique of colouring in golden proportion to come up with a so called “Art piece” at the end of the workshop.
A very colorful workshop Indeed!
The start of the series of Mixed Media Painting was held May 17 , 2014 in Knowledge Village Block 13 G01 at Lotus Institute’s lovely classroom the ambience of the room had set the artistic moods of the participants. The room has so much display of different artworks from their previous & current students. From abstract, oil & classical painting and many more. The participant is warmly welcome with a friendly smile of the instructor. It was a day of fun filled activities and excitement.
Everything was all set, from the room to the materials that will be use. The instructor explains about the different materials to be combined. Discussed techniques and how to mix and combine different mediums and come up with an artwork.
Over all, we can say that Mixed Media Painting Workshoptakes the fear out of artistic experimentation and instead lets you explore your creativity! It was truly a wonderful teaching, great mix of time to paint and time to learn together!
